Founder & Chairperson

Harshini Rathika Kishore Kumar Singh is the Founder and Chairperson of Rural Tech Rise, a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to quality education and technology in rural parts of India. Under her leadership, Rural Tech Rise runs five major projects that provide free internships and paid placement opportunities for young learners to gain practical experience and grow as leaders.

She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, where she was awarded a 100 % Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship—a prestigious full-tuition international scholarship that recognises academic excellence and leadership potential and includes participation in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program. Her own experience with this scholarship has strengthened her commitment to supporting other students; she actively guides and mentors aspiring learners from rural India, helping them navigate scholarship applications, pursue global education opportunities, and build the confidence to lead change in their own communities.

Driven by a belief that education should be accessible to all, She works to build international partnerships and scale Rural Tech Rise’s impact so that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to receive the quality education they deserve.

Apply for Internships

We’re excited to open applications for the Rural Tech Rise Internship Program — a chance to gain hands-on experience working on real projects that support education and technology in rural India. Interns will receive a certificate of participation, and those who perform exceptionally well and meet our project metrics may be considered for paid opportunities.
